By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that your utilization of the Nile Cruise Portal website and your involvement in any tours provided are governed by these terms.

 

Reservation Guidelines:

Enjoy the ease and reassurance that comes with our amazing deal, which requires just a 25% down payment to hold your place on the tour. This payment covers your hotel accommodation, cruise cabin, domestic flight, and additional necessary travel services. You can pay the remaining balance up to two days prior to your arrival, or in cash when you get to your destination, providing you with a hassle-free and secure investment for your reservation.

 

Client's Revisions:

The possibility of implementing changes to the initial reservation is contingent upon their availability. After the full payment is completed or the voucher has been issued, no further administrative fees will apply, except for those concerning adjustments to your airline tickets.

 

Credit Card Transactions:

Should you choose to pay with your credit card, we respectfully request that you provide a signed letter granting us permission to charge your card. The signature on this letter must correspond with the one on your card and your passport.

 

Cancellation Charges (Not Applicable During Peak Seasons)

Nile Cruise Portal highly emphasizes the safety and well-being of its clients. Therefore, it is necessary for cancellation requests to be made in writing through either fax or email. This approach guarantees effective communication and compliance with the company's revised cancellation policy.

Should you decide to terminate your journey, the following fees will be incurred:

  • A cancellation made from the time of booking up to 61 days prior to your scheduled arrival will incur a fee of 15% of the total cost of the tour.

  • Should you cancel between 60 and 31 days before your expected arrival, a fee of 35% of the complete tour price will be charged.

  • If cancellations take place between 30 and 15 days ahead of your intended arrival date, a fee amounting to 50% of the total tour cost will apply.

  • For cancellations that occur between 14 and 1 day prior to your expected arrival, you will be charged the full amount of 100% of the tour price.

Moreover, airlines levy fees for both domestic and international flights, which are determined by the particular terms and conditions established by the airline at the time of booking. In addition, a 5% banking charge will be incurred on any refunds.

 

Cancellations for the Christmas, New Year, and Easter periods:

If you decide to cancel your trip during the high season, the charges outlined below will be enforced:

  • Should you decide to cancel from the moment of booking up to 61 days prior to your planned arrival, a fee amounting to 25% of the total tour cost will be assessed.

  • Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before your expected arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the complete tour price.

  • If you cancel within 30 to 15 days before your scheduled arrival, a fee of 75% of the full tour cost will be applicable.

  • For cancellations occurring between 14 and 1 day before your anticipated arrival, you will be charged the full amount of 100% of the tour price.

Airlines possess the right to impose charges according to their policies, and a bank fee of 5% will be deducted from all refunds.

 

Force Majeure:

Nile Cruise Portal offers a flexible cancellation policy should a travel warning be issued by the government or airline for your country of departure or destination. In such cases, we will refund the total amount you paid for your tour package. Alternatively, you can choose to receive a travel credit and voucher that can be redeemed for any of our tour locations in the future. This credit can be applied to new travel services booked within a year. Please be aware that any fees for changes or cancellations will only apply to flights, according to the airline's policies.

 

Returns:

Typically, refunds are returned to the same account and through the same payment method that was initially utilized. If a reservation cannot be located, regrettably, a refund cannot be processed. Please be assured that refunds will exclusively be handled via the original payment method.

 

Lodging:

The rates listed are based on double occupancy in a shared room. Should you wish for a private room, an additional fee will apply. We carefully select hotels that meet our rigorous quality standards. Please note that prices are subject to change without prior notice.

 

Air Travel:

  • Domestic Flights:

We provide standard pricing, and the expected times may differ. Any alterations to your flight might result in a change in cost.

  • International Flights:

We offer competitive rates for international air travel from your home country to your desired destination.

 

Accountability:

The company functions exclusively as a travel agency, taking on the responsibility of guiding and enhancing the travel experiences of its clients. Regardless of whether the trip is by land, sea, or air, the company disclaims any liability for injuries, illnesses, damages, losses, mishaps, delays, or interruptions affecting individuals or their belongings that may result from various circumstances. These circumstances include uncontrollable events such as severe weather, natural disasters, unexpected situations, actions by government entities, conflicts, civil disturbances, labor strikes, riots, theft, mechanical breakdowns, quarantines, or failures on the part of hotels, transportation providers, or dining establishments. The company is not liable for any extra costs that may arise due to these events.

 

Unique Requests:

If a client has particular preferences, they should communicate these to the company at the time of booking. The company and its partners will strive to meet these preferences. However, it is crucial to understand that such requests are not included in the contractual agreement, meaning the company cannot assure their fulfillment. The ability to accommodate these requests will depend on availability, including that of seats, which can be pre-booked. Even if a special request is acknowledged in the confirmation invoice or other documentation, this does not guarantee that it will be fulfilled. Clients will not receive a direct notification if their special request cannot be accommodated. The company does not permit bookings that rely on the fulfillment of any special requests.

 

Children Policy (A Child Shares Parents' Room):

 

Policy 1: Regarding hotels, Nile cruises, and packages

  • Kids aged 2 and younger: No fee required.

  • Kids under 6 years of age are responsible for 25% of the overall tour price as a single participant.

  • Kids under 12 years of age are accountable for 50% of the overall tour price as an individual.

  • Children aged 12 and above are classified as adults.

If your travel package covers flights or a ferry ride, there will be an extra charge for your child.

 

Policy 2: Regarding sightseeing tours and shore excursions

  • Kids aged 6 and below: No charge.

  • Kids under 12 years old are required to pay only half of the total tour fee as an individual.

  • Children who are 12 years or older are regarded as adults.

If your travel package consists of flights or a ferry, there will be an extra charge for your child.

 

Gratuities:

In various cultures, it is a common practice to express gratitude for the services rendered by staff during your visit by offering a tip. We suggest tipping based on your level of satisfaction. While it is not obligatory, the staff will be very thankful for your generosity.
